Though Pip doesn’t consider herself a creative per se among the King and Teppett team, she too will swoon over everything that enters the store - including our lovely customers. A true people person, Pip loves meeting new clients and has thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the business with husband Paul. With duties extending from floor sales and reception right through to Paul’s personal assistant, Pip is an integral figure in the King and Teppett team.

Overseeing projects of varying scales from start to finish is one of the many aspects Lesley enjoys about her work as an interior design consultant at King and Teppett. Drawing inspiration from the ever-evolving shop floor, Lesley is partial to the narrative behind each piece and how these stories inform the spaces she creates. With more than 15 years of experience at King and Teppett, Lesley will guide you through the store and begin what will ultimately go on to be a wonderful collaboration.

Down the left hand side of our showroom, you'll see a wee office on the right hand side; this is where you'll find Rochelle. She keeps everything ticking over smoothly in the background. Kind, focused, and extremely dedicated, there's not a bad word we could say about Rochelle. And it's not because she manages the payroll, either!

Being surrounded by beautiful things is Gabbi’s preferred environment, especially when it comes to designing creative solutions for her clients. Despite her own eclectic personal style, Gabbi gravitates to a relaxed, contemporary style, leaning into textures, layers, and linens to establish an aesthetic that prioritises both function and form. Originally from Perth, Australia, Gabbi relocated to New Zealand to join her husband on his family farm in Mangahao where they raise their two young boys and dog. Gabbi brings a wealth of interior design knowledge and qualifications to the King and Teppett team, and has a background in design, lighting, art and furniture.

Steve is our official mover and shaker. If something needs to be moved from A to B, and back to A again, Steve is our valued set of hands to help our spaces take shape. If you see him in store, best to give him a wide berth - not because he's not friendly - believe us, he is - it's just highly likely he'll be coming through with a delivery for one of our lovely customers.
